see internet explorer. go to file work offline… uncheck this if its checked. this tells IE (and dependent programs) not to search for a net connection…
you may be connected to your wireless, but that doesn’t mean you internet is working. Check you router to see if it is connected, check your DSL or Cable modem to check for a connection also. Another thing you can try is go to Start Click Run type CMD and hit enter. In the black dos box type ping yahoo.com and see if it returns a bunch of numbers. If it says Request timed out that means you aren’t connected to the internet.
Also, check to make sure that your wireless settings are right.
